Pretty Molly and a DT Call

Hiya lovely crafty peeps! Hope you're all well and happy :)  I'm super happy right now .... it was my birthday on Wednesday and I got extremely spoilt!  My daughters treated me to my first ever Pandora charm bracelet!! Oh my word! How excited was I?  They are both very lucky to already have one of these beautiful little gems and I was always a little envious LOL .... they probably just wanted to shut me up hehe!

Another reason for me being super happy right now is that I'm finally off for my very own wedding dress fitting tomorrow!! Eeeeek! I'm so happy right now I could burst!  Wedding plans are well underway .... let's just hope I don't turn into Bridezilla .....

Anyway, enough of me!  It's time for Challenge 9 at Art By Miran and, as always, it's
ANYTHING GOES!!!
(with a hand coloured image)

The hugely talented Mi Ran has been working up an absolute treat for you all with her newest images.  I love all of her images, which you can find HERE, and it's always such a difficult choice of which one to use!  I decided to colour up the adorable  PRETTY MOLLY and here she is ......
She's certainly pretty for sure!
I coloured her up with Prismacolor Pencils (love playing with these at the moment) then fussy cut her out and popped her onto the card 3D style.  The papers are from LOTV and I die-cut the top edge using a Lace Edge Signature Die from Joanna Sheen.  The Butterfly Die is also Joanna Sheen and the flourish is an XCut 'Leafy Flourish' Die.

The flowers are a mixture from WOC and the Hobby House and the little adhesive gems are from my stash.
A little close up for you ..... I know I need more practice on blending the pencils together to get a much smoother look, but I am trying .... honest!! ;)

One more exciting announcement before I go ...... Art By Miran are in the process of having a DT Call, which ends on June 30th!  If you love these images as much as we do and would love to work amongst Mi Ran's fabulous team of ladies, head on over HERE to apply!

Big love xx

Sweet Cheeks

Morning Everyone! Hope you're all keeping fit and well and enjoying this beautiful weather we're having at the moment! You've gotta love a bit of sunshine ......

We're already onto Challenge 8 at Artbymiran with lots more loveliness to share from my fab DTeamies.

As always, it's an ANYTHING GOES challenge - how easy peasy is that?  All we ask is that you use a hand coloured image - a little low down on the rules can be found HERE.

I decided to have a little go at the 'no lines' colouring for my creation this time.  I've never tried it before and it's probably not as 'invisible' as some of the fab creations I've seen around blog land, but I did have a lot of fun with it :)  The little lady taking centre stage on my door hanger is the very adorable

Isn't she just the cutest .... and there's oodles more of Mi Ran's fabulous images to be found in her store HERE.

I coloured Sweet Cheeks' skin and hair with Copics and her clothes and hair accessory with Prismacolor Pencils.  The gorgeous papers are called Always & Forever from Lili of the Valley and I distressed the edges for a shabby feel.  The little wooden hanging heart at the top was from The Range, which I covered in the same papers, then added some little wooden stars which I frantaged.  I also frantaged around the gorgeous Sweet Cheeks, as you can probably tell LOL.  The beautiful flowers are from WOC and the all important door hanger and little pearl hearts are from the Hobby House.

A little close up!

I hope you can join us again this time and we look forward to seeing what you create!

I would like to enter into the following:

Crafty Creations Challenges - #265 Tic-Tac-Toe (Flowers/Ribbon/Digital Image)
Stampin' for the Weekend - Anything Goes

Princess Honor

Hey Everyone! Hope you're all fine and dandy!

I've been seeing some gorgeous creations on Kraft card lately and so, just for a bit of fun, I decided to have a little more playing time with my new Prismacolor pencils and gave it a whirl.  It's all a bit trial and error at the moment, but the pencils are starting to grow on me now ...... kinda ......

I thought I'd colour up the very gorgeous Princess Honor by Saturated Canary and here's the little lady herself ....

Okay!  So the nose is far from perfect, I got a little stroppy with her skin colour as I didn't have a clue which colours to use and I could've blended a bit more but, overall, I'm quietly pleased with the overall effect ......LOL

The gorgeous flowers are from WOC.  The twine, pearl string and jute are all from LLC.  Butterfly, adhesive lace, metal sentiment and feathery stuff  are all from my stash.

I'd like to enter into the following:
Crafting by Designs - Anything Goes

Hobby House Art Book Inspiration

Good Morning lovely peeps!

Today is my turn to share a little bit of inspiration over at the Hobby House Blog and, for the beautiful month of June, (taking no notice of the rubbish weather) myself and my fabulous DTeamies will be showcasing our little makes using the fabulous NEW Elisabeth Bell Art Books.

I absolutely love these little gems as the beautiful images are all cut and ready for you to colour up and create with!  Another thing, the cardstock is brilliant to colour onto!! :)

My first inspirational piece is using an image from the Summer Sweetness Art Book
I coloured this gorgeous girly with Copics in the following:
Dress:  B000, B00, B02, B05
Blouse:  YR00, YR02, YR61
Skin:  E000, E00, E11
Hair/Shoes/Brown Trim:  E31, E33, E35, E37, E51

I inked around the image to give it a softer edge and to blend in with the papers, which are Bear Necessities from LOTV.  The butterfly edge die is from Joy Crafts, the small individual butterflies are a Signature Die and the scalloped circle die is from Sizzix.
The beautiful embellishments, from the flowers to the pearls and pearl string can all be found at the HOBBY HOUSE.
Isn't she just a beautiful image?

I hope you like my piece of inspiration today and hope you'll pop by the Hobby House Blog tomorrow for more inspiration on these ready to colour art books.

Thanks so much for popping by!
Big hugs xx
